Crowley Cup Netball

                                      Crowley Cup

Today we played netball against Matapu for our last pool game for Crowley Cup! Both teams placed their hands in the middle and shouted TEAM!! Nicky blew the whistle and the rough game started. Our team were a bit rusty on the first half but on the second half our engines were running.

In the game most some of us had twisted ankles but we just played on. In the first quarter we were letting the other team push us around and steal the ball, but the third and last quarter we were all concentrating hard.

The whistle blew for the end of the game and we ran to our coach (Kim) she told us how great we had played and what we needed to work on for any netball. We had played fair and all had a great game. Both rugby and the netball team lost but both games were good games.

Crowley Cup Hockey

Crowley Cup

The whistle blew and I ran onto the field straight to the ball Thwack the ball went flying. The other teams had canceled so it was TOKO vs TOKO.

The game went for half an hour and there were a few slips and twisted ankles but we were still going after the ball. The score was 11- 9 to the non bibs. We all had a great game. We watched the rugby and netball until the games were finished then we went to the hall for an early morning tea.

Green-Gold Reflection

On the 7th of June we had to prove that we were an environmental school. Two people came and asked us some questions that a enviro school should have done. Here are what the classes do:
Room 1 did the litter free zone,
Room 2 did the lavender bags,
Room 3 the chickens,
Room 4 did the feijoas,
Room 5 are the enviro class and
Room 6 did the school banking.

We talked about what it means to be a Green-Gold, we are the first school in Taranaki to be a Green-Gold.
