War

WaAnPeace

War feels like water and mud squishing beneath your feet and having them cut off.
Peace feels like soft sand sinking under your feet on a summers day.

War sounds like guns and bombs going off as you fight against the enemies, and as you tremble.
Peace sounds like beautiful birds singing in the trees above your head as you smile.

War tastes like canned sardines as you fight the yuckiness of the WORLD WAR.
Peace tastes like freshly baked ANZAC cookies as you love what the world has done to you.

War looks like cute animals helping and caring for the people who died or got injured.
Peace looks like animals galloping across the fields of poopies.

War smells like dead rats that dogs have killed (poo wee!)
Peace smells like nice cheese that NO rats can get to (yummy!)

World War 1

I created this Storyboard with Emma.

My Family Treasure

My special family treasure is when my great great grandad went to war.

Its special because world war one was 100 years ago and its very famous.
My family keep track of great grandparents who went to war and other people in our family,
(in our family tree book in case you’re wondering.)

Peace

Peace sounds like birds singing in the lime green trees and kids splashing in the shimmering sea.

Peace tastes like hot Milo and a chocolate cake with my family.

Peace looks like playing with my friends and spending time with my family.

Peace smells like nicely baked ANZAC cookies freshly from the oven.
