The Army Visit

ARMY

On Thursday the 13th of November the army came to visit Toko school to show all the weapons and what they eat when they are camping.

After morning tea it was room 4's turn to see the army.First my teacher, Mrs Hancock, split us into two groups and  told us we could go in the tanks, the first time I went in I didn't get at the front of the tank but luckily I did for the second time.

At the front of the tank me and Emma went to the front of the tank for the first time we also looked through the telescopes and we saw green and brown. The drivers seat was very skinny.

In the bus shelter there were some guns that we could hold and see in the scope. A man told what their enemies were and they were Germany and Japan, they were the hardest to win against.I felt a bit  nervous and I thought I was going to touch something I'm not meant to touch.

I felt like joining the army but I'm not.

M.O.T.A.T!

Introduction.
Have you been to M.O.T.A.T in Auckland?Well me and my family went there on one of the trips to Auckland.M.O.T.A.T means Museum Of Transport And Technology.

First we went on a tram to the other part of M.O.T.A.T which was the plane museum. It even went past Auckland zoo ,it stopped there so people could get off.
Tram Ride.
Inside was old, brown and polished. It ran on train track and power and it had two engines.

Plane Museum.
We saw also the biggest fighter plane (in the olden days they used this plane in the world wars. There was a plane that landed on water and shot back up again. There were also lots of other little fighter planes. My little brother, Harrison accidentally pressed a button and it made all the plane noises it was very loud I was terrified.

Mirror Maze.
We also manged our way through a mirror maze it tricked you because when looked not exactly at it, it looked like you were
trapped by mirrors and when you did look exactly
at it you weren't trapped by mirrors. It showed lots
of pitchers of you,but luckily we found our way out.

Science Tent.
There was also a science tent.
Dad and my little sister,Tess are spinning drills. In the olden days they used to spin these drills to set fires. Tess got to try 5 different types of
honey.Dad started playing on a 10 keyed piano Tess, Me and Harrison started playing on the piano to, mum didn't play on it she took photos. My favourite was plastic molding.

Water Pump.
The water pump was colossal. The wheel took most of the room up, half of it was under ground and half of it was on the ground. Most of it was wood but it yellow and brown it was so tall but some of it was pipe and metal. There were stairs to go under ground I did not want to go down there but luckily it was shut by gates.

So if you get a chance to go to Auckland remember to stop by at M.O.T.A.T to see all the cool things me and my family saw.

If I Were The Boss At My House.

If I were the ''Boss'' at my house on Monday I would make my family slaves because I don't like doing jobs at all.

If I were the ''Boss'' at my house on Tuesday I would kick everybody out so I can party all night because I don't do anything I want to do (most of the time.)

If I were the ''Boss'' at my house on Wednesday I would put spells on my family to make them all slaves and I would watch Tv.

If I were ''Boss'' at my house on Thursday I would get up early and pack all the goodies in the lunch box while my family is asleep.

My Dad!

One of the people who makes my heart feel happy is my wonderful dad. He makes my heart feel happy is because he hugs and kisses me and that is how my heart feel happy. My dad has green eyes and he has black hair like the midnight sky and his smile is like an upside down rainbow. When he smiles his eyes twinkle stars in the night sky. My dad is special because he reads story's to me, my sister and brother at night. When he says good night he kisses and hugs me good night.
His personality is very happy.

Mrs Waite

Mrs Waite has brown eyes like muddy ponds, her hair as dark as chocolate falls. Mrs Waite is my hero because she looks after the environment and gets new sports gear. Her big smile makes me really happy, her eyes twinkle like stars in the night sky when she smiles. She sounds like a happy little women. She smells like red roses just growen from the garden. She feels like a fluffy white pander bear looking after people.

Wind

We went out into the cold frosty wind. I felt the wind rushing and brushing my face and the frosty wet green grass freezing my feet. I can see branches swaying in the breeze and leaves dancing in the trees. I can taste my frozen tonge and cold wet spit. I can hear roaring leaves like the wavesand people shivering. I can smell the fresh fruit and rotting leaves. I feel the fresh frozen air.

Emma Coming Over To My House

On Saturday Emma came to our house.

When Emma arrived at my house for lunch my cousins were there too. First me and my cousins and Emma had lunch it was so yummy. Sadly enough my cousin had ten minutes until they left. After my cousins left me and Emma strolled to the garden then Emma spotted a butterfly it was yellow like the sun and black like as the midnight sky. It was so stuck Emma rescued the buterfly it struggled and tried to find it's way out but Emma held tight as it  struggled to get out. Then it was starting to rain so Emma with the butterfly in her hands and me with nothing we ran to the house got inside and shut the door. Next I asked mum if we could have a container for Emma to carefully put the buterfly in. We to make it live longer so we put moss, flowers, leaves and grass. Then we were finished all the house making for the buterfly and then mum told us Emma had to go home then I told her she can take the buterfly home.

On Monday Emma took the buterfly to school then she showed Mrs Hancock. She opened the lid then butterfly flew happily because it was free Hollie and Emma tried to catch it but then the buterfly got out of reach. Finally it landed up high so it was still out of reach it was so funny!

A few days later it died and fell onto the bench. When it was school time then Emma looked at the bench and spotted the dead buterfly. Outside Hollie found a dead white buterfly and it popped it in the container with the other dead buterfly.

If I Were A Sock

It was dark as the night sky I feel very sad because I miss my twin witch was my matching pear. I am lost and can't find my owner. I am in a dark place, and I am flat as a pancake and it smells like a rubish dump this is where I am I'm in a lost property bin. I am also covered in other socks, jerseys, t-shirts and pants. I really wished I could get out of this thing and find my owner. luckily I heard a sound ''I found my missing sock.'' Finally I found my owner. When me and my owner got home my owner threw me in the dark draw then I saw my twin laying down and crying on the other side of the draw. Next my twin stopped crying and saw me I was thrilled to see my twin. Somebody picked me up and put me on her foot I was very happy.

The Terrifying Bull

As I turned around I could see red fiery eyes looking at me. I could hear the bull scratching the dark brown dirt. The bull was as black as the midnight sky and I could see the big white colossal horns. I could smell cow pat on the ground. I could feel my heart pounding inside me it sounded like drums. I tasted the brown dust.

My First Day Of School!

The best thing that's ever happened to me is my first day of school. First I had a few school visits. Then I started school,I started to cry because mum wasn't there with me. A few days later I got used to school and made some friends which were Leigh and Bry. Some boys from Room 5 were very mean to me suddenly I knew they weren't trying to hurt me. The next exciting school day I learnt what ten plus ten is and what four plus four is and all sorts of stuff at play time I played with my friends we played farmer farmer. For writing I only wrote one or two sentences and my teacher Meagan taught us Te Reo some of the colours were white is ma,red Whero, yellow Kowhai, green Kakariki and blue is kikorangi. I had to stay in room 1 for two fun and exciting years and now I'm in Room 4 so that's four years I've been at Toko school. I was very scared at the start.
